“Are you finished with that, Sir?” asked the waitress, looking at Draco's half full plate of food.

“Yes,” he snapped grumpily, with a warning look from Hermione.

The waitress smiled politely. “Would you like to take it home in a doggy bag?”

“Excuse me?” he turned around to face her, alarm in his eyes. “I am not a dog, thankyou very much! My father will hear about this service -”

Hermione stepped in fast, touching his arm gently. “No, Draco, love, she means that you can take it home in a bag if you want. 'Doggy Bag' is just a,” Hermione lowered her voice, “muggle expression.”

“Ohhhh,” Draco realised she had meant no harm. “But no. What do you think we are, poor? We can afford new food, you know.”

Hermione didn't say a word and just looked at the waitress apologetically as she collected Draco's plate.
