I remember when Draco asked me if a man had a girlfriend, but loved another, if he should leave her. My eyes welled up then. I knew what he meant, and selfishly I said he should stick with his girlfriend – if he loved her once, he can love her again.

I remember how Draco used to look at me, and I remember when he gave her those looks instead. The looks that used to be mine.

And I knew right then, that he would be mine no longer, that I had lost him to another. Another pureblooded woman. Astoria Greengrass.
