“I can't believe you just did that,” spat Draco, pacing up and down outside her cell.

“Whatever,” Hermione didn't care anymore. That time had come and gone.

“You do realise you face death for this?” Draco turned and looked her straight in the eye, but received only a shrug in response. “You don't care?”

Hermione turned away. “What have I to live for?”

“Me.”

She scoffed. “You? The one who takes me to my torturers every day and shouts at me when I fight back?”

“I have to...” he whispered.

“No,” Hermione shot back. “You don't have to do anything.”
